The St. Francis House Room to Grow Peer Recovery Support Center is a safe, nonjudgmental place; a place to be supported in the recovery a member chooses. The Recovery Support Center is a welcoming community that supports multiple pathways of recovery and offers educational groups and activities for adults who are presently experiencing or have experienced homelessness while attempting or maintaining recovery. Read our mission statement.

Room to Grow is currently encouraging all members to share their feedback on the Center and make sure their voices are heard!  There is a link to the survey here.  Want help with the form?  See an RTG staff person or peer!

You will be asked to give your name so that we know the feedback is coming from a member of our community.  If you would like to do it anonymously, please come to the Center to complete it on paper.

Who is it for?

The Recovery Support Center is a place to be supported in the recovery that you choose and is for anyone who wants to stay away from drinking or using - even if it’s just been one day.

Meet folks who are finding their way through the struggles of homelessness and/or have experienced homelessness and drugs - while trying to change their lives.

Welcome people who want to be part of a recovery-focused community—building connections, and getting involved in peer groups, activities, and community life.

What is it not?

We are not a treatment program. nor a dropin center or day shelter. We will not nag you, or push a particular pathway of recovery on you. No annoying processes, no required counseling or therapy groups.

We are not here to change you.

We’re here to help you stay safe from using and offer support and activities along the way.

Like your recovery, our center is a constant work in progress.

We’re always looking for new members who will bring fresh ideas and opportunities to our growing community of hope, dignity, and respect.
